The Travel Photography Of Lisa M.

Today I have a special post! My first guest post. I am proud to welcome, Lisa M., a writer, lover of art and design, traveler and student of beauty. She lives in Texas and works in the eclectic world of Austin real estate. There are many creative house plans inspire her travel photography.

I hope you all enjoy Lisa's beautiful photos!

Glass: Color, Function and Beauty

Glass is one of the most versatile art forms. While traveling in Europe I found many different ways in which artists incorporate this material into doors, ceilings, floors, light fixtures and statues. Glass can be enchanting, colorful, recycled and molded into a seemingly endless array of forms and functions.

Murano, Italy – Hotel Villa Lina

These beveled glass orbs add an unexpected, playful feel to an otherwise industrial entrance.

Murano, Italy – Shop

The chandeliers, vases, and other glass forms in this Italian shop demonstrate glass’s unlimited potential for experimentation and creative expression.

Paris, France - Le Marais District

This whimsical sculpture was a highlight of my Paris trip.

Tingewick, England – Private Home

The juxtaposition of clear and frosted glass creates a unique and memorable room.
