This may be my last post until after Christmas, so I will say...
I wish you the best, most happy filled Christmas ever! Be safe and enjoy!
I love to browse other blogs for inspiring design to feature and today I hope you will enjoy Cia Wedin - a Swedish design journalist and stylist. I love the typical Scandinavian/Swedish influence. I cannot wait for my new home in Brooklyn in a few months - so I can finally put that wonderful Swedish design to use.

Hello and Happy Monday!
Short post today. I am still in California and we're headed out for the day.
I have featured Jennifer Post back in April 2008 and recently found a beautifully designed all-white space that Jennifer designed - and I wanted to share.

Happy Friday!!
Last weekend before Christmas? Is all your shopping done?
I was browsing on Dwell Magazine instead of through the magazine and I fell in love with the home of Suzanne and Brooks Kelley.
The Connecticut home is actually their guesthouse and it has become their home. It was designed by Gray Organschi around five years ago. Since their house was in need of some cosmetic changes, but then before they knew it - they were making a clapboard cottage that beelines to the coastline.
I, of course LOVE the huge floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in all of that natural light.
Oh and the womb chair in the beautiful living space is just wonderful!
Overall, this home is a beauty and I wanted to share it.
Enjoy!

So, here I am in California still. I am loving every bit of it. I really wish I could live out here, but it just won't happen. Too expensive during this time in our lives.
Villa Näckros in Kalmar, Sweden was designed by Staffan Strindberg, and is only 472 square feet. I love the Swedish simplicity and clean lines. I would still drop everything and move to Sweden in a heartbeat.

Happy new week! I am posting from beautiful, sunny Los Angeles right now!
What did you do over the weekend?
I have been meaning to feature Nadia Sparham for the past few weeks, but well...you know how time goes - - fast! I love the patterns and the pillows. The dishes are ceramic with cool whimsical designs.
Enjoy!

On Providence, Rhode Island is a 52 year old beautiful mid-century modern home. In 1958 architect Ira Rakatansky built the 4 bedroom house and he still lives there. This home is such a sight for sore eyes because today the mid-century modern furnishings and actual homes are still so popular. You all know I am a mid-century junkie and there is nothing like seeing the best right where it began like inside Ira's home.
Enjoy!
This is an excerpt from Ira Rakatansky's book "As Modern As Tomorrow"
Architect Ira Rakatansky’s current home, located on Everett Avenue in Providence, is a strong expression of his views on the purpose of architecture. In contrast to traditional homes, which Rakatansky feels are not relevant to the way modern families live — “they are dry and one can heat them, but that is about it” — the design of his home considers the orientation of the sun, wind, accessibility, views and utilities.

Happy Friday!
Posting late again. I been so busy!
I haven't done a post focused on furniture in a while, so today seemed like a good day to feature Zweed of Stockholm, Sweden. Zweed is a rather new company - just formed this year by Håkan Johansson.

I would love to have this orange/wood/&white mixed console table in my living room or office.
